University Maharaja's College

is an institution in Jaipur, the heart of Rajasthan. Established in 1884 by

Sawai Ram Singh III

, it has been affiliated with the University of Rajasthan since 1947. The college was granted the status of "College with Potential for Excellence" by UGC in 2011.

It is one of the

oldest colleges in North India

and was designed by British architects . The Royal look of building boasts its

From 40 students in 1875 to 3000+ students currently, Maharaja's family has continued to grow stronger.

The college ground has witnessed several national and international sports events, including the cricket match played by MCC in 1961 where Mr. Salim Durani's performance stole the spotlight.

The college celebrated its

178 years of prosperity

in 2022.

Being a Government institution Maharaja's is a gathering of meritorious students. Despite the common prejudice, we are not just an assembly of book-warms, rather we are just as active in cocurricular activities and
